I wanted to see what it was like to live and work in New York City.
Being able to go and see AU alumni working is really going to help me meet people who I do want to work with it the future.
I knew at that point after the executive suite classes and the LA intensive that I wanted to be an executive. I actually just wrapped this past week "Fear the Walking Dead" after its eighth season in Savannah, Georgia.
There's not a straight line as far as how do you get to be an anchor on MS it? Can you shift and change sort of depending on you know what hour you're anchoring.
You're putting all the pieces together. You're responsible for the final product. Some places will have story producers follow casts specifically. Like on Teen Mom 2, I knew that cast so well.
The folks that we heard from at Mike Worldwide, really stuck with me and just their tips about interviewing and resumes and cover letters.
We want this to be very conversational, and we want to answer all your questions. And we're obviously a fully integrated PR agency. It makes a difference. Those little things are the big things. If you're passionate about it, and you want to try it, we want you to go out there.
Michael [inaudible] himself really inspired me and showed me really that no matter what your dreams are, they're not too big, they're not too ambitious. And so he really, I think inspired us all.
Alt right movements, alt right movements is having an impact on their decision to buy [inaudible].
No, so they pay our chapter.
So it's not a red flag. Say in an interview, "I am excited to experience and to learn."
We live in an era of gratification, you know, so it's much less about a product or services... features.
Claire from NBC inspired me on this trip because she's a successful woman, and network TV. And I also hope to work for NBC so she was really an inspiration to me!
What inspired me on this trip was really being able to see AU alums working in the field and kind of seeing their past success coming right out of AU and kind of how they've been able to develop their career.
What makes AU's degree so different than a lot of the other universities is your coming out as well-rounded in all facets of media. So I think the thing that AU really gave you was this well rounded media production.
Even like the film theory classes, learning how to break down all of that helped me better understand how to tell stories.
The connections are just unparalleled. And the access that you get through working with these people who are not only professors but really impressive communications professionals in their own right, is just the best gift that you could look for.
Go with the flow to the extent that you can, you know, especially when you're younger, and you can try different things.
You have a lot of life to live, whatever that sort of first job or step is out of college is truly just that.
Endure. It's more about playing the long game and enduring and doing the stuff you like in the meantime.
Don't think too hard. Just get yourself out there and go from there.
